Of course they'll argue that the contractor is independent but they also use the same contractor for all of their inspections, so he's doing well keeping Plush's business!! I already face the issue of a mismatched leather couch because the original back covers aren’t the same dye lot as the ones that have arrived. I have no confidence in Guardsman repairing the couch as it is likely with a missing seat cover that I will be asked to wait for another which will be from another dye lot. I have waited patiently and long enough for my couch to be repaired. So, after waiting 9 months in total two seat covers and thread arrived this week. After stating this wasn’t satisfactory I was finally up lined to a Manager -Supreet- who told me the items would arrive in 9 weeks. After suggesting I needed an arrival date I was advised the wait would be 22 weeks. In April of 2022 - 4 months later- when nothing had arrived I began calling Guardsman who told me they couldn’t advise when the covers and thread would arrive. They advised the 3 seat covers and thread would arrive in a few months.
